Returning & Resting
An invitation to a retreat:
Isaiah, declares the invitation of the Sovereign Lord, “Only in returning and resting will you be saved; in quietness and trust is your strength. But you were not willing.” (Isaiah 30:15).
In these retreats (a half day) will practice different spiritual disciplines that help create space in our lives, souls, hearts for God. Space to return home to our Father and rest in him. Space for quietness and trust to deepen and transform us. Space to find the truth that He rescues us and strengthens us when we make space for Him.
Rates: $20.00 CAN/person/half-day
Date: Jan 17 and Feb 21 (3rd Saturdays) further dates to be added shortly (March, April & May)

Art & Spiritual formation
retreat Day
This day retreat (online or in person) is an invitation to slow down and spend meditative, creative time with God. Learning to listen deeply to God, self and others through a guided creative process and sharing of our experience.
Each retreat will have a Scriptural focuas and a unique art project. Step by step guidance will be given. While we allow the layers to dry, we will spend time with God in prayer. A few questions will guide you through a reflection process that takes in the Scripture and the art you are creating and the current state of your whole self - body, heart, mind, and soul.
You will be invited to share what you experienced, as you are comforatble. As you listen to other’s stories and others listen to yours, the experience is deepened.
Rates: $80.00 CAD/person/session (in person art materials provided); $50.00/person/session online
Minimum of 4 participants
Register: by noon 5 days prior to the event date.

A 2 hour pause to examine through the gift of “quick” collage an insight into truths through the metaphors and symbols of the collage items we choose. Jesus chose often to speak through metaphors and symbols in the Word of God and we will metidate on his words but open ourselves to let him speak to us through the metapohrs and symbols of our everyday lives.
COST: $5.00 Cdn per person online or @ The Gathering 102 Goerzen Street, Saskatoon. Please bring your own beverage. All other materials all provided, (magazines are a welcome donation).
